So far it's been very nice. I got approved for the apartment and she let me move in right away. The best part is that because I'm disabled, The Bigelow actually discounts your pets rent for you if they are service pets or emotional support animals. It's a beautiful building with lots of amazing architecture. They have laundry on site, a small but very effective gym, and several other amenities. The building is located right in downtown Ogden and is easily accessible to local transportation. The biggest problem I ran into was I parked in one of the other residents parking stall and had the unfortunate experience of having my car towed. The staff here have been very kind and I like the different artwork and lights outside at night from my window .

I've been a Ogden resident for 51 years and have spent many of my years in the Hotel Ben Lomond Hotel, so things are to be expected in a 100 year old building. I have chosen not to live there for other reasons than it's not good... But I'm leaving a 5 star review for Nadine. She was great! Very professional, honest, and inviting. I'd give her a raise, yesterday :)

This is a very beautiful historic building with amazing staff! Alissa and Skyler are very welcoming and friendly. Alissa went above and beyond to give me all of the information I had requested and worked her hardest to accommodate my needs. I can tell that these two people care about their residents deeply. If you are looking for a place to live with a welcoming atmosphere and amazing views, I would recommend the Bigelow.

One of the best things about living in the Bigelow is the staff. Alissa, at the front desk, is always incredibly friendly and helpful everytime I have anything come up. And for such a large building, she seems to know every residents name and always appears to be in a cheerful mood. Having lived in apartments before, I'm surprised by how seemingly noiseproof the units are. I didn't there were people in the unit next to mine until the other day when I saw them enter their unit. The second elevator just finished being serviced, so it's nice to not have as long of a wait.

We have had great difficulty and anxiety finding a place to stay on short notice, but thanks to Alissa and Bobbi working with us every day and fighting to find us an available room that fit our needs, we finally made it! What a beautiful space. I thought the interior would not be perfect because it was an old building, but the remodeling was really good. I was able to live well without any problems while living at home. And the management is really good at work. They are always kind, listen to us well, and solve problems immediately and immediately when they arise. Except for the problem that the elevator had been broken for a long time, it was always very convenient for us. And due to unavoidable circumstances, I had to leave earlier than the contract period, but the apartment manager explained it well and helped me a lot. They're really kind people.

This is a beautiful historic building with amazing views from the upper floors. We moved in a few months ago and it’s fantastic. The residents are nice and the staff is great, always friendly and ready to help with anything. Bobbie is the wonderful lady in the office that I deal with most of the time and it’s so nice to find a place that cares about its residents. Great location, very pet friendly, and we have a beautiful view of the temple and the mountains! We have security as well which gives me great peace of mind and it always feels safe here. I will be sad when we eventually move out!

So far Bobbie has been great. I have not moved in yet, but I am just waiting for a 2 bedroom on a higher floor to come up for a good view. Bobbie, hope I'm spelling it right, has answered all my emails quickly and has been so helpful. I am hoping we can get a place there and I can update my review more as we live there. I was considering tower view, but their reviews are so one way or the other and they never answer me. I am going with Bigelow, when Bobbie is this responsive, to me, it shows me they actually care and want to uphold a great reputation. Keep up the good work. Put in a pool and hot tub and I will give you 10 stars 😁😁

The building is old and has the baggage that comes with that: elevators are crap, AC doesn't always work, rooms don't have built-in lights, plumbing difficulties With the bad comes the cool: Historic building, everyone I have ever brought over is impressed by the grand hotel entrance, great views from the 10th floor, amazing location, huge rooms for the price. You can get gigabit internet here. Staff are amazing and far make up for a lot of the negatives. Management is conscientious and acknowledges there are issues that are being addressed. Managers have sat down and just talked and listened to concerns and are just always pleasant to interact with. Maintenance guys are pretty hammered most of the time but are great and personable when they get to you. Even the security guards are overall chill. If you have dogs, be careful getting out of elevators or into elevators. Other dogs might lunge. People are amazing. The building is always improving. These elevators really, really suck though and parking is too expensive. If AC becomes more reliable this place will be 5 stars.

Living in this piece of history wasn't a bad experience. It's 100+ yrs old and sure, there are problems but, everywhere has issues... even new builds. Bobbie addresses your issues, Bailey is always happy, Chris is awesome and will go out of his way to help and Jaime is always professional. I would live there again!

Stayed here for a week for work and loved everything about it! Hauntingly beautiful and mystic! Rooms are big and comfortable. The staff were excellent an informed. The piped in music was such a great touch! Full restaurant was closed while I visited, but the kitchen still put out some great food! Best steak I've had in Utah! Can't wait to get to go back!

I lived here for a year. In that year there were up and downs. Over all it was a good experience and management did thier best to resolve any issues or concerns. I lived here in peak covid so it was kinda pricey but over all a great experience.

I've been here almost a month and so far it has been the best place I've ever rented. There were a few maintenance issued that were quickly addressed. Hunter and Colby have both been there to answer any questions. They are dedicated to doing a good job the apartments are really nice, as is the lobby, laundry facilities, and the gym.

We moved here from Las Vegas last March, and I really like the downtown area and the building is simply beautiful. I love the arrangement of the one bedroom flat, and the view is terrific. The eclectic group of residents makes this a wonderful place to live and enjoy the historic downtown area. The management is very good at making sure everything is working properly and the building is enjoying quite a renaissance of it's own. I am very happy that we decided to take an apartment in this building.

I love to take bands on tour for a stay at the Bigelow in Ogden, part of the national register of historic places (formerly Ben Lomond Suites). Ogden is a bit north of SLC but on the way from Denver. It’s definitely worth the extra little drive to stay here. It’s considered one of Utah’s three grand hotels - and the only one of the three still functioning as a hotel. Like many of my favorite properties with historic pizzaz, this spot is a member of the Ascend collection of hotels. This downtown is really cool with plenty of things to do, see, eat and drink. The property itself had it’s own garage and rooftop parking, suitable for larger vehicles with trailers like ours. The property itself, which has always been tastefully up kept is undergoing some awesome renovations and I like what I see. Always love the huge rooms - bigger than an average apartment. Wonderful boutique toiletries here as well. Last of all, the staff here is absolutely top-notch. Love this property and would stay here any day over any chain-brand.
